Mrs Fuehne's ART 2 had a great time on our field trip to the St. Louis Art Museum —the students learned about ancient art and more modern artists. I believe Monet was our favorite painter. Students enjoyed seeing and learning about the mummification process.
We had a few minutes before the museum opened so we got a few pictures at the Arch. The architecture and art on the grounds there was pretty awesome too!

Cape Girardeau Public Schools is thinking about starting a new school to help students who are getting better after using drugs or alcohol. This new school would give them a safe and caring place to learn and grow.

Cape Kiwanis Club recently recognized students from the area that had won the Kiwanis Scholarship (this includes a few students from other schools). There were 12 Cape Central seniors that received the scholarship (4 Central recipients not in the photo). Congratulations to all the recipients!
