All children 18 years and younger can eat at any of our buildings while we are having Summer School. They do not have to be a student enrolled in Summer School to receive a FREE meal.

Important Update 3/31: All activities, Cub Club, practices and games are canceled today due to potential severe weather. The Addams Family at Cape Central High for tonight (Friday) will be rescheduled for Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Friday tickets will be honored at Sunday’s performance. We encourage our Tiger Family to please stay tuned to local media outlets to make sure you are informed of the latest weather. We could have very strong storms late this afternoon into the evening. Cape Girardeau Public Schools and the City of Cape Girardeau would like to invite the public to celebrate the opening of the Jefferson Community Center on Thursday, April 6th at 1:00 p.m. We will host a short ceremony and offer tours of the new facility. We are very excited for our students and the community to use this beautiful, new resource!

Soccer signups are open! If you have a student in 3rd-8th grade who would like to play soccer with their Cape Tiger classmates, sign them up to play for FREE! Cub Club had a great time participating in the Parade of Lights! Don't miss your chance to support Cub Club at T-Rav's Give Back Day on Tuesday, December 27th from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Cub Club is our amazing after school program that gives children a place to learn and grow after the final bell rings on the school day. Cub Club is tuition-based and is available to students enrolled in our elementary schools.

REGISTRATION IS OPEN FOR YOUTH BASKETBALL AND WRESTLING! Cape Girardeau Public Schools is excited to have the opportunity to offer athletics in our elementary and middle schools. Students who sign up to play through the school will participate for FREE. Studies show that children who play sports generally perform better academically. Our hope is that by offering sports at an early age at no cost to families that more students will reap the benefits of participating in athletics.
