Cape Central's Caitlin Hill has been selected for the 2025 Missouri Scholars 100, and Dulina Dias received "honorable mention" in the prestigious academic program. Missouri Scholars 100 is a program sponsored by the Missouri Association of Secondary School Principals. Schools across the state were invited to nominate candidates for this recognition. The selection is based primarily on a formula using the student's grade point average and ACT or SAT score.
Each nominated student had to meet the rigorous "Academic Decathlon" criteria, which consisted of ten events designed to assess their academic excellence. To qualify, students needed a minimum GPA of 3.75, an ACT score of at least 29, or an SAT score of at least 1,900, and a ranking in the top 10% of their class. They were also required to have completed advanced coursework in mathematics, science, English, and a foreign language. Additionally, candidates had to demonstrate outstanding attendance, exemplary citizenship, and active participation in school activities.
