The Cape Central High School Bel Canto Choir and Concert Choir showcased their incredible talent at the State Music Festival, held at the SEMO River Campus. Both groups earned exemplary (gold) ratings in their performances and sight reading — the highest rating possible.
This achievement reflects the students' dedication, attention to detail, and unity as a group. Their outstanding performance not only impressed the judges but also left a positive impression on their bus driver, Ms. Wren, a former CHS choir member under the direction of Judy Williams. Ms. Wren commended the students for their respect and behavior during the trip.
With such a successful showing, now is the perfect time for students to get involved in the CHS choir program. Auditions for the 2025-2026 school year are approaching, and those interested in joining this tradition of musical excellence are encouraged to participate.
