Cape Central Middle School’s beloved therapy dog, Kember, celebrated her half-birthday by giving back! Through the month of February, students and staff collected much-needed supplies for animals at SEMO Pets, turning Kember’s special day into a heartwarming act of kindness.

From treats and food to cleaning supplies, the CMS community came together to make a difference. But the fun didn’t stop there! Students also got a chance to showcase their own furry (or feathery, or scaly!) friends by filling out special forms about their pets. Some even got creative by drawing pictures to share their love for their animal companions.

On Friday, Kember, along with members of the CMS staff, delivered the donations to SEMO Pets, spreading joy to both the shelter animals and the people who care for them. It was a "paws-itively"wonderful way to celebrate Kember and support animals in need!Four staff members from CMS and Kember pose for a picture
